Bimetal Thermostats:
These are small size bimetal thermostats having snap action disc with switching mechanism for single pole single through connection. Snap action disc undergoes a change after sensing the temperature and changes the contacts position. These thermostats are available in three types of construction.

Bare, covered with aluminium cap only.
After aluminium cap it is pouched in a PVC tube enclosure.
Potted in epoxy resin.

These thermostats are available in normally open as well closed position and changes over for either increase or decrease in temperature. Differential temperature in open and close position can be from 10 to 70 deg. C. These thermostats are also available with temperature fuse assembly.

Application:

These bimental thermostats are use in frost free / no frost refrigerateros for actuating the defrost system.
For controlling temperature of wide range of appliances.

Temperature Range	- 20 to 150 deg. C
Temperature Differential	10 to 70

Insulation resistance	100M ohms.
