Backup / Reverse Light Switches for Automobiles:
These are low current indicating devices used in automobiles for indicating the signal of reverse gear in automobiles. These are nose mounted switches in which a sensing plunger is projecting out of the nose. When some lever pushes the plunger it actuates the low voltage electrical signal which further gives on signal to reverse light.

Applications:

They are used in automobiles for switching on the backup / reverse light when the vehicle is put in the reverse gear.
They are also used in industrial applications for low voltage push type signal devices.
